Hi Quantum and Tempest Teams,

As a follow up to my previous message and based on conversations and 
messages over the past few days, below you will find an inventory of the 
Tempest tests blueprints for Quantum that have descriptions in 
Launchpad. The inventory below is in addition to the smoke test recently 
developed by Maru Newby (https://review.openstack.org/#/c/17776/).

 1. https://blueprints.launchpad.net/tempest/+spec/add-basic-quantum-system-tests

      * Drafter: Hua Zhang.
      * Assignee: Zhongyue Luo.
      * Completed by Zhongyue Luo on 2013-01-05
      * Description: As we know, we're planning on gating with tempest
        for quantum. 1) one blueprint has added quantum to devstact gate
        (https://review.openstack.org/#/c/6641/
        <https://review.openstack.org/#/c/6641/> ). 2) and another
        blueprint has added some json services and some unit tests for
        quantum ( https://review.openstack.org/#/c/4896/
        <https://review.openstack.org/#/c/4896/> ). so this blueprint
        plans to add following basic quantum system test cases into
        tempest to leverage the openstack jenkin's infrastructure. *
        create tenants * create vms * create networks

      * Drafter: Nachi Ueno.
      * Assignee: Nachi Ueno.
      * Completed by Jay pipes on 2012-01-04
      * Description: Add basic senario testing for Quantum 1 Create
        Internal network 2 Create VM on each network 3 Create External
        network 4 Create Router 5 plug internal network 6 plug external
        network 7 setup floating ip 8 setup security group ( Nova
        version) 9 ping test 10 netcat test ( optional )

      * Drafter: Miguel Lavalle
      * Assignee: Miguel Lavalle
      * Status: Approved by Jay Pipes, development in progress
      * Description: Implement Tempest tests for each one of the Quantum
        deployment use cases described in the Folsom Administration
        Guide (detailed description at
        http://docs.openstack.org/folsom/openstack-network/admin/content/use_cases.html

 4. https://blueprints.launchpad.net/tempest/+spec/quantum-extended-api
      * Drafter: Miguel Lavalle
      * Assignee: Miguel Lavalle
      * Status: Approved by Jay Pipes, development in progress
      * Description: Tempest tests for the Quantum API v2.0 will be
        extended as follows:Relevant "negative" tests will be developed
        for all the CRUD operations on the entities offered by the API:
        Network, Subnet,  Port. Positive tests will be developed for the
        following generic API extensions:  Available extensions
        retrieval, Provider networks,  Layer-3, Quotas
