[openstack-dev] [Heat] Future Vision for Heat

Yw, Anytime!

If any of my ideas don't make sense, or want more clarification, please ask.

All of this I'd like to make happen in nova sooner than later, but if heat has the same features (or will have them someday) then that makes both projects better in the long term.

I'll add some info, others feel free to add also.

Nova's initial use-case I think is pretty basic, but will likely get complex with time (of course).

Its already complex, so moving it around to a task-system will help out, a nice library of course will help make it clearer in the future.

Hi. Talking this over with Adrian and Alex at the summit. We'd really like to understand what Nova needs and make sure we capture and address these as part of work for heat. Adrian has kicked off a new thread on etherpad to do this - https://etherpad.openstack.org/task-system ...
