I'm definitely interested in a discussion at the summit.  The ability
to track a transaction across services is really important for log
analysis.

I like the idea of a customer supplied transaction ID, but I would
be wary of mixing it with an OpenStack transaction ID - too many
possibilities for conflicts. If we allow that, we should treat them
as distinct identifiers.
