Just for clarity, your talk was proposed (and declined) to the
"OpenStack Summit" speaker tracks, not to the Design Summit track. The
sessions proposals for Design Summit are still open -- those are not
formal presentations though, just general discussion topics.

Feel free to propose stuff at summit.openstack.org !
