NSS is a pretty useful library, although last time I looked it was
actually 
less than trivial to get it installed with a couple of broken links etc.

My interest is in using NSS for some extra certificate validation
functions, 
I'm not currently looking to use it to do SSL termination because you're
forced to use NSPR for socket operations.
