IA-64 or "Intel Architecture, 64 bits" has been and is "Itanium" but at 
the same time there is/was IA-32 referring to 32-bit x86. And of course 
there is AMD64 and EM64T and x86_64...  "IA" as such is I suppose vague 
and will depend on context.
