IMHO, the PPB could help at this point by: 1) Reinforce for everyone that the project is committed to API stability. I don't see any evidence of disagreement about that, but I guess stating it formally as a policy would remove any doubt. 2) Encourage the use and continued development of the guidelines we've come up with so far So, how about splitting it up?
