Those projects are now under Feature Freeze: feature addition, new configuration options (or other significant behavioral changes) should not be merged without being approved by your project PTL as exceptions. The goal is to facilitate testing and focus on bugfixing and quality until the project can produce its first Liberty release candidate. We are also under requirements freeze (exceptions needed to bump requirements or introduce a last-minute dependency) and Soft String Freeze (limit the number of string changes to facilitate the work of translators).
