One 60 minute meeting per week would be more inline with the community standards (assuming irc meetings).

I voted, but am not certain I did both. Can we use an aggregate of the two to find
acceptable times?

I’m also in favor of IRC meetings. I think that they are more line with community
standards, and helps to encourage wider engagement in the Defcore process.

Hi folks,
At the DefCore working sessions during the OpenStack Summit, I took an action item to send out a SurveyMonkey poll to help determine an optimal meeting time for the Flag cycle. For those who are new to DefCore, please note that we’ve traditionally held two separate meetings each week: a capabilities meeting (during which we score potential new capabilities and tests to be added to the DefCore battery) and a process meeting (during which we discuss most everything else). I’ve created two separate polls for these meetings so that you can answer for the meeting or meetings you plan to attend. As a reminder, if there’s substantial demand by regular attendees we’ll try to work out a staggered meeting schedule so that everyone gets a chance to participate.
Both polls will close on Friday, May 29 at 18:00 PDT.
Poll for Flag cycle process meetings:

Poll for Flag cycle capabilities meetings:

On a final note, there was some concern expressed that folks in some parts of the world may not be able to access some survey tools. We believe that Survey Monkey should be widely available, but if you are unable to access the polls, please feel free to email me directly and I’ll be happy to provide an alternate method of making your opinion heard.
At Your Service,
Mark T. Voelker
