I agree that each of the focus areas for bylaws changes should be a separate vote. There should be the original language and proposed language for each bylaw change focus, along with what the bylaws would look like with each set of changes, plus with all the changes. I would hate to have DefCore changes derailed by other, unrelated changes that may be more controversial (or vice versa for that matter). --Rocky -----Original Message----- From: Rob_Hirschfeld at Dell.com [mailto:Rob_Hirschfeld at Dell.com] Sent: Thursday, September 11, 2014 12:18 PM To: joshua at pistoncloud.com Cc: aclark at suse.com; eileen.evans at hp.com; defcore-committee at lists.openstack.org; Leslie.Roay at dlapiper.com Subject: [OpenStack-DefCore] Suggestion to split by-laws changes into separte redlines for voting [was Updated Bylaws] > From: Joshua McKenty [mailto:joshua at pistoncloud.com] > My only further concern is to make sure that, despite the convenience, each potential Bylaws change is structured as a separate redline, and voted on individually - both by the board, and by the membership. +1 I'd like to see other people object or +1 on this suggestion. _______________________________________________ Defcore-committee mailing list Defcore-committee at lists.openstack.org http://lists.openstack.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/defcore-committee
