Hi Dolph and Jamie,
- periodic-keystone-python27-havana http://logs.openstack.org/periodic-stable/periodic-keystone-python27-havana/... : FAILURE in 13m 09s
"Plugin loading from config objects" was merged to keystoneclient master which adds stevedore dependency not present in Havana Keystone test-requirements. Havana global-requirements has stevedore>=0.10 is that enough or we need to bump Havana global to 0.14 ? Cheers, Alan

Alan, I went back through the stevedore changelog (http://stevedore.readthedocs.org/en/latest/history.html ) and ran the tests i have (not all committed) and as far as i can tell the 0.10 version will work just fine. Out of interest though how do we manage this? I can't submit to keystoneclient master a version that is not in the global requirements. Jamie

It needs to be added to Keystone Havana deps, keystoneclient master is checked out directly from git and running in Keystone's venv. https://review.openstack.org/106974 Cheers, Alan

+1. Reviews for stable branches are not actively reviewed, even those that unbreak branches. I had a bad experience with havana glance backports that fixed sporadic test failures, that were not reviewed by anyone from stable cores for months, and I just abandoned those reviews. How can we push review process? I know everyone is passionate about master and new features and developments, but stable branches are what is actually consumed by downstream distributors, and they majorly define the way our product looks to our users. Is current stable maintainers' group overflowed with things to do? If so, should I consider sending a request to add me to stable maintainers?.. /Ihar
Thanks Gary

We need stable/* at least for security fixes so I don't think abandoning them is an option. Membership review is long overdue, so everybody can consider this as a friendly warning to improve their stats :) Note that project PTLs are always included and should care about their project's stable branches.
