Hi, I'd like to request a freeze exception for the following patch in nova: https://review.openstack.org/57891 The patch is part of the fix for [1], the first part of which was already merged in [2]. It is a really small change that was already merged in master a couple of weeks ago. Without it the snapshots created from a volume-backed instance can't be used to boot new instance because, which makes the snapshots feature completely unusable for this type of instances.
