Hi,
I'd like to be added as member of the stable-maintainers team. I've been doing reviews in stable branches as well as proposing new patches that should be backported for both folsom and grizzly versions.
Thanks. Flavio
Hi Flavio, CC: openstack-stable-maint team Some pretty good reviews: https://review.openstack.org/#/dashboard/6159 Good progressive restraint on https://review.openstack.org/#/c/26815/ Agree with your optimism on https://review.openstack.org/#/c/28076/ Expectation on tests, https://review.openstack.org/#/c/28075/ Good digging into the code to check you are satisifed, https://review.openstack.org/#/c/28545/ I will say the the majority of the reviews you have done seem to be from today, and all work seems quite recent. I think I'd have liked bit more historic interest - but based on what you have currently done and a commitment to maintain this effort, I am supportive of the application. I'd like others to comment if it is suitable to proceed now, or allow more evidence to be built. Please confirm you are familair with: https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/StableBranch Thanks. -- Kind Regards, Dave Walker

Thanks a lot. There are quite few from today but there should be some others from older patches (perhaps they're not shown?).

Yes, I'm familiar with it and have been following the guide-lines explained there. Thanks for taking a look at my request. Looking forward to your comments and other folk's comments as well. +1 for Flavio, I think he showed "stable" way of thinking when reviewing, and he also started backporting Glance fixes (so it won't skip another release :) Flavio, please join openstack-stable-maint@lists.openstack.org this is where we discuss all-things stable. Alan

Hi all, since there were no votes against, I've added Flavio to the openstack-stable-maint group[1] in Gerrit. Also, Doug Hellmann is interested in helping with grizzly stable reviews and I don't think he needs introduction, so I've added him too. Welcome Flavio and Doug! You're joining us just in time as we are preparing for the next 2013.1.2 release. Proposed dates are: stable/grizzly freeze May 30, release June 6.
