I think that it is very important to get that patch back ported and it is a worthy candidate for a back port exception. My concern is that this patch (http://github.com/openstack/nova/commit/e2efa57ab2fb03b92f80abbf612a257c28475140) needs the following patch to be back ported - https://github.com/openstack/nova/commit/a52259ea2dda742d528723d58f20b3b225f1eac5

Hi Folks - i’d like to back port this but to havana (and even grizzly if possible). This blocks postgres support. Is this ok to do? Thanks
