Icehouse freeze exception request

Stable maintenance team Folks, I have a request for a Icehouse release exception: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/112806/ This fix is important for deployers who use the swift middleware (swift_middleware.py) in swift env. I confirmed that swift broke when the swift middleware was used with other swift's middlewares (tempurl, staticweb, dlo and slo), I would like to have your check whether we have enough benefits to handle this as an exception from Stable maintenance team point of view. Icehouse stable freeze exception for Neutron security fix

Hi, I would like to request a FFE for a neutron patch [0] It is a security bug fix [1] and the corresponding OSSN was issued two weeks ago. The patch in the master landed a few days ago. I believe it is a nice fix in the next stable update. As far as I checked it satiifes the criteria of a stable backport and it looks good to go. stable/icehouse frozen in preparation for 2014.1.3

Hey All- Just letting everyone know I added a -2 to all unapproved changes as part of the 2014.1.3 freeze. As I write this, we still have have 53 (!) approved changes queued in the gate for merging. I would like to let this flush through before sending out a call for testing. Hopefully on Monday? Any later than that and I propose we bump the release till the following week to allow those interested in testing the proposed tarballs a chance to do so. If others would like to keep an eye on the pending changes and kick them with a recheck when needed, it would be appreciated. I'd like to thank everyone who helped out getting the patch queue down this week, we've got quite a team helping out with stable maintenance now! Cheers, Adam

Preparing for 2014.1.3 -- branches freeze September 25th

Hi All- We'll be freezing the stable/icehouse branches for integrated projects this Thursday September 25th in preparation for the 2014.1.3 stable release on Thursday October 2nd. You can view the current queue of proposed patches on gerrit [1]. I'd like to request all interested parties review current bugs affecting Icehouse and help ensure any relevant fixes be proposed soon and approved by Thursday, or notify the stable-maint team of anything critical that may land late. A couple of notes: - We are quickly approaching the Juno RC period and, if last cycle was any indication, expect a slower-than-normal Zuul queue during this time. Any help with getting things approved and on its way to merging would be appreciated, the earlier the better! We're currently waiting on a fix to land in python-keystoneclient [2] to fix the icehouse gate, but should be in good shape for merges after. - The next release (2014.1.4) will be the last planned stable/icehouse release and the release date is TBD for after Kilo-3. If there are any critical fixes that need backporting, now is would be the time to propose them as it will be a while before the next release. Hello everyone, The OpenStack Stable Maintenance team is happy to announce the release of the 2013.2.4 stable Havana. We have been busy reviewing and accepting backported bugfixes to the stable/havana branches according to the criteria set at: https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/StableBranch A total of 180 bugs have been fixed across all projects since 2013.2.3.
