Hello, team
Liberty translations will be closed in 24 hours from now on. After that, I will set stable-liberty "Read Only" for a few days, in order to preserve time for development team to package them.
I see zh-TW, fr, tr-TR have a very few words left in Horizon
Hello, team We have finished Liberty translations. Look at the achievements we have made within 1 month: * Horizon translations 12 language teams finished Horizon translations 100%. 13 languages will be shipped together with Liberty. They are: Chinese (China), Chinese (Taiwan), Czech, English (Australia), French, German, Japanese, Korean (South Korea), Polish (Poland), Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish and Turkish (Turkey). * Nova message translations 3 language teams finished the translations of nova.po 100%. They are: Chinese (China), Czech, and German. 12 language translations of Nova messages are more than 75% and will be imported into Liberty branch. * In total, we have translated more than 1 million words in 1 month. (The exact number is 1037k.) It's an amazing number. Congratulations for those language teams, and many thanks to the hard work of translators, reviewers and coordinators. We will conclude liberty translation from today. According to Andreas suggestion, I leave stable-liberty in open status. You could continue the improvement of stable-liberty versions. All your improvements will be imported into liberty branches and shipped with the liberty stable releases. As to the master versions, I have set them writable and merged the translations of stable-liberty versions into master versions. Both stable-liberty and master versions are open to accept translations now. Thank you again for your hard work. Translation teams have only 24 hours to clean up your work. Please hurry up. Thank you for the corporation.

I managed to merge the liberty translations into master version, in below projects: • openstack/aodh • openstack/ceilometer • openstack/cinder • openstack/designate-dashboard • openstack/django_openstack_auth • openstack/glance • openstack/heat • openstack/horizon • openstack/keystone • openstack/neutron • openstack/nova • openstack/ironic • openstack/zaqar The project list is the list of projects that branch with translations, getting from https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/Translations/Infrastructure#Project_list with a small update. Project swift doesn't have branch but project ironic does have. So swift is removed from the list but ironic is added. Please let me know if I missed any projects. Thanks all for working on the fix, Daisy and all! I confirm Japanese nova translation in the master branch has been updated as expected and see almost same number of approved strings as of liberty branch. Thanks, Akihiro 2015-10-08 2:49 GMT+09:00 Ying Chun Guo <guoyingc@cn.ibm.com>:
Akihiro,
There is a bug with nova merging. The merging from stable-liberty to nova didn't happen actually.
With the help of Andreas and pleia2, I finally figured out how to bypass the bug and execute the correct merging. You could take a look at nova project now. I think it looks better this time.
Best regards Ying Chun Guo (Daisy)

I did merged stable-liberty to master yesterday, and i did the merge just now. Nothing is changed.
I feel strange to the status of Japanese translations too. I will check them carefully.

Hi Daisy,
Did you really merge stable-liberty branch back to the master branch?
At least the status of "nova" in Japanese translation is different from what you reported about branch merging.
Nova Japanese translation status are as follows: stable-liberty: 1174 approved messages, 2 unapproved translated messages, 63 rejected messages master: 278 approved messages, 848 unapproved translated messages, 114 rejected messages
I haven't checked the detail, but honestly I cannot think over 800 messages have been updated after the feature freeze in Nova.
Thanks, Akihiro
2015-10-08 0:31 GMT+09:00 Akihiro Motoki <amotoki@gmail.com>: At least the master branches of keystone and cinder are still frozen and only stable-liberty are open for translations.
I just checked projects with IBM translation imports. OpenStack has many many projects and I don't think the manual process works. If we don't automate the process, I think we should not mark the master branch anymore.
Akihiro
2015-10-08 0:05 GMT+09:00 Ying Chun Guo <guoyingc@cn.ibm.com>: I mainly merged translations of Horizon, Nova and django_openstack_auth, and other projects with read only master version. Not all projects.
Which projects do you expect more strings? I merged a few projects with stable-liberty, e.g. swift and glance, I didn't see any changes to master version.

Daisy,
Have you really done this on all projects that have a stable- liberty branch?
Looking at today's import, I would have expected a few more strings
Yes, manually operation doesn't work. Even there is no auto jobs, I do need to write scripts. I could not remember which projects have set Read Only and which projects don't. Anyway, it's the first time. Things will get better next release. Best regards Ying Chun Guo (Daisy) Akihiro Motoki <amotoki@gmail.com> wrote on 10/07/2015 11:31:07 PM:
