Chinese (zh_CN) translations are broken
The import of openstack-manuals for zh_CN fails: On liberty for doc/common-rst/source/locale/common-rst On stable for install-guide In both cases, there's a Backspace character in there (0x08 Unicode). Thank you, Andreas. Could you tell me what are source strings of the bad translations? I will take a look and investigate the history. Best regards Ying Chun Guo (Daisy) Andreas Jaeger <aj@suse.com> wrote on 2015/12/03 15:48:38:

There's again a unicode 0x08 (backspace) character in zh_CH common-rst in stable/liberty Chinese translators, please fix this yourself - this blocks import of translations for liberty. I'm afraid only a few of Chinese translators register this mailing list. I tried to search the backspace character following Alex's steps but I didn't find it. Will you let me fix the issue when it happens next time? I could find out the reason and who made the bad translation, and then inform the translator separately. I have connected with the translator and he has found the problem. He said it was caused by the input method. He has solved the problem. Thank you Andreas for the information. Best regards Ying Chun Guo (Daisy) Andreas Jaeger <aj@suse.com> wrote on 2015/12/04 15:10:01:

The import failed for the same problem again this morning on doc/common-rst/source/locale/common-rst for zh_CN, I strongly advise to enable syntax highlighting and check for those red bullets. Who can fix the translation file so that we finally get an import? I have fixed the errors. I communicated again with the translator. He has enabled "syntax highlighting Editor" and changed the input method. If such problem happens again, I will let himself to fix the error. Sorry for the troubles. Best regards Ying Chun Guo (Daisy) Andreas Jaeger <aj@suse.com> wrote on 2015/12/05 15:40:25:

It looks fine now, this morning there was a valid import again for stable/liberty.
