With many thanks, /Ian -------- Original Message -------- Subject: I18n project mascot Date: Mon, 13 Feb 2017 13:49:49 -0800 From: Heidi Joy Tretheway <heidijoy@openstack.org> To: Ian Y. Choi <ianyrchoi@gmail.com> Hi Ian, I’m excited to finally be able to share final project logo files with you. Inside this folder, you’ll find full-color and one-color versions of the logo, plus a mascot-only version, in EPS, JPG and PNG formats. You can use them on presentations and wherever else you’d like to add some team flair. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/h1viph4bhbc06lw/AABxQGzAHhN3nAmk_1jy8OA2a?dl=0 At the PWG, we’ll have stickers for your team of the mascot, plus signage on your room. I’m especially excited for the project teams to see all of the logos together as one group, because they work beautifully together stylistically while making each project’s mark distinctive. Feel free to share this with your team, and thanks to you and to them for the hard work they put into reaching an agreement on the mascot. Also feel free to direct any questions my way! photo *Heidi Joy Tretheway* Senior Marketing Manager, OpenStack Foundation 503 816 9769 <tel:503%20816%209769> | Skype: heidi.tretheway <https://webapp.wisestamp.com/sig_iframe?origin=mac-mail&signature_id=5499768844845056&t=0.9726545857097719#> <http://linkedin.com/in/heiditretheway> <http://twitter.com/heiditretheway> <http://www.openstack.org/>
Cool! I wonder what does the bird mean? Personally I would like to know it. No meaning is one of good answers :-) Akihiro 2017-02-14 7:06 GMT+09:00 Ian Y. Choi <ianyrchoi@gmail.com>:

Question: Should we represent "I18N" as "I18n"? I thought that capitalization of all the characters to emphasize the official team name would be fine. With many thanks, /Ian

Our official name is "I18n" [1]. However, the Foundation seems to use all capitalized characters for the mascot image for all projects, AFAIK. For example: docs [2] [1] https://git.openstack.org/cgit/openstack/governance/tree/reference/projects.... [2] https://www.dropbox.com/sh/htu234yuf963i9b/AAAsraXwT3a5O9HNmms4E9yFa?dl=0 Thanks, KATO Tomoyuki
Hello, Foundation revised I18n logo with adding crossbars on large "I" character (not 1 nor small l). : https://www.dropbox.com/sh/h1viph4bhbc06lw/AABxQGzAHhN3nAmk_1jy8OA2a?dl=0 Hope that the revised logo will make every OpenStack people happier :) (Although the previous logo was already printed for PTG event: https://goo.gl/RgR6YF ) With many thanks, /Ian Kato, Tomoyuki wrote on 2/15/2017 6:06 PM:
