I18n team working sessions in Vancouver
Hello, all We had a great day yesterday. There were two I18n team working sessions. People from Japanese, Frech, Russian, Polish, Chinese and Chinese Taiwan team attended. Key persons from Doc team, infra team, and Horizon dev team joined the discussions too. We made good progress with glossaries, document translations, string freeze, tool migration, and etc. More details could be found in the etherpad pages [1] [2]. Yet our translators still want more face to face communications. So I organize an ad hoc meeting on Wednesday afternoon, only for translators. If you are translators and in Vancouver summit now, come to join the ad hoc meeting. The place is at a round table outside the Room 1, East Building at the Vancouver Convention Centre. The time is from 2:05pm to 5:05pm on Wednesday, May 21st. I will sit there and wait for you to join. I created an Etherpad page for us to track the discussion. Feel free to add the topics you want to cover. https://etherpad.openstack.org/p/vancouver-translation-team-workshop Thank you. I made a mistake in my last email The time of ad hoc meeting is tomorrow, Wednesday afternoon, May 20. I thought it was May 21 in my last email. The time difference made my brain fuzzy. Best regards Ying Chun Guo (Daisy) Ying Chun Guo/China/IBM@IBMCN wrote on 2015/05/20 01:09:32: translators.

Hi, With regard to the translation check site I made a spec (as requested by infra team on Monday), as etherpad tends to die when the Design Summit is on, you can find it here: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/184559/ Comments are welcome! Can you have a look at my comments on the change so we can move this along? Some are just comments, others we do need the spec updated for, like clarification on what you mean by monitoring, use of the nova fake virt driver and considerations for the firewall. -- Elizabeth Krumbach Joseph || Lyz || pleia2

Will do, it's on my backlog - I had vacation after the summit and the last week was a bit hectic. I hope to get this done this weekend.. Regards, -- Łukasz [DeeJay1] Jernaś
