translation team communication, how to create mailing list
Hi, to get back on an older topic, e.g. see http://lists.openstack.org/pipermail/openstack-i18n/2015-September/001380.ht... Zanata apparently doesn't have the capabilities to send messages to the translation team (the built in chat is not too helpful) and it doesn't seem realistic to expect such a feature in the near future. Since the German translator team is growing and to have some appropriate forum to discuss language specific issues and agree on standards, I thought about finally managing an email list, something like [Openstack-i18n-DE]. Would anyone know how to request/create an email list on lists.openstack.org? -- Thanks, Robert

Looks like Christian might have made a convenient step here :) https://review.openstack.org/#/c/284297/

Good point but if you suggest to use this one, I'm not sure if that's the purpose of this new list. I found some localized lists while non of them appears to be for the translation relevant discussions but for whatever-language-speaking OpenStack _users_. I think the needs are different, don't you think? But it mostly answers the question how to request a list :-) -- Thanks, Robert

Here, in France, we are exactly in the same situation and have the same need as the german i18n team. So, I'm going to submit a patch to the system-config repos ! The name of the future list will be "openstack-i18n-fr". Best regards, Jean-François Taltavull i18n french team coordinator

Did the same, for "openstack-i18n-de". I guess we have set the standard now :-) -- Cheers, Robert
