Fw: [OpenStack-doc] Add Korean fonts for 'coluddoc-maven-plugins'
Hi, It seems that I have met with this problem before, but I cannot remember how I resolve it. It was a long time ago. @amotoki and KATO, have you met with this problem and how did you resolve it? [Openstack-i18n] [OpenStack-doc] Add Korean fonts for 'coluddoc-maven-plugins'
Hi, David
This is Sungjin Kang, a coordinator of OpenStack I18N Korean Team. Could you help me out on the following problem?
When creating a korean document using maven, all korean characters are displayed as "#####".
While I was looking for the possible solution, I found out that Korean font might need to be added in "clouddoc-maven-plugins" you manages.
If this is the case (adding korean font), I would like to add a korean font called "Nanum fonts[1]"
[1] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nanum_font
I can prepare for the actual font file. However, I don't know what I need to do to add korean font.
Could you help me out on this?
Thanks,

Hi, IFIAK, Japanese font support was added to clouddoc-maven-plugins in 1.8.1-SNAPSHOT. We sent information about what Japanese font is appropriate and David added its support to the snapshot version of clouddoc plugin. I use this version instead of the default version of openstack-manuals (1.8.0) to generate Japanese PDF. I hope it will help you. Thank you, Sungjin. I believe other people will meet the same problem. Will you write down these steps in the wiki? I added one section "How to" at the end of our wiki page: https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/I18nTeam#How_to You can write down your action items there.
