Hi, There will be OpenStack I18n team meeting at 0700UTC on Thursday (September 5th) in IRC channel #openstack-meeting. The time, we use Asia/Europe friendly time. Welcome to join the meeting. During the previous several weeks, we have good progress with the infrastructure setting up in Transifex. We have the common glossary shared within all openstack projects. We have Horizon ready for translations. Tomorrow is the string frozen date. Now it's the quite important time for translating now. We want to make sure Horizon can have the high quality internationalized release for Havanna version. If you are interested in translations or tools, welcome to join us. We will cover following topics this time: Action items from the last meeting Horizon I18n version release process Translated document publish process Open discussion For more details, please look into https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/Meetings/I18nTeamMeeting. You can also contact us through IRC channel #openstack-translation, or mailing address: openstack-i18n@list.openstack.org. There may be some changes incoming due to https://bugs.launchpad.net/horizon/+bug/1220075 and I don't know if they will make it in time for the freeze. I did a review of the incoming review requests for horizon yesterday in the hope to catch most translation bugs before they hit master, as to ease up the translation process afterwards. Sadly I won't be able to make it to tomorrows meeting due to travel so my introduction mail will follow this one ;) Best regards, -- Łukasz [DeeJay1] Jernaś
Hi, Łukasz Jernaś If you are not able to catch the frozen date, please make sure your changes will affect the strings in Transifex. Run "./run_tests.sh --makemessages" after your changes and make sure those po files will be updated. And then after these changes commit to Github, the strings in Transifex will be changed. Our translators will notice the changes then. Regards Ying Chun Guo (Daisy) Łukasz Jernaś <deejay1@srem.org> wrote on 2013/09/04 15:04:03:
