Zanata apparently doesn't have the capabilities to send messages to the translation team (the built in chat is not too helpful) and it doesn't seem realistic to expect such a feature in the near future.
Since the German translator team is growing and to have some appropriate forum to discuss language specific issues and agree on standards, I thought about finally managing an email list, something like [Openstack-i18n-DE].
Would anyone know how to request/create an email list on lists.openstack.org?

Good point but if you suggest to use this one, I'm not sure if that's the purpose of this new list. I found some localized lists while non of them appears to be for the translation relevant discussions but for whatever-language-speaking OpenStack _users_. I think the needs are different, don't you think?

Here, in France, we are exactly in the same situation and have the same need as the german i18n team. So, I'm going to submit a patch to the system-config repos ! The name of the future list will be "openstack-i18n-fr". Best regards, Jean-François Taltavull i18n french team coordinator
