Hi, Aman
So whatever has happened, has happened. Now how can we do the damage control?
While you are translating, if you see the wrong script translation, you could reject it by clicking the reject translation button.[1] After you reject it, the bad translation will be moved from the translation. Gradually, you will have a clean translation.
Another thing is while selecting language codes, we talked about changing pa-IN to pa-Guru. So if it can be done it will be great thing. As it liberates the identity of language from a country and associates it to script which is very beneficial. Please help in this regard by changing the pa-IN to pa-Guru
pa-IN folder and the translations are in develop repositories. If you want to change pa-IN to pa-Guru,
'pa' is default for pa-guru in CLDR project/Unicode [1] is using, Same way wikipeida [2]. So I suggest, pa-IN need to be 'pa' (which will represent Gurmukhi script) and if later pa-Arab (Shahmukhi) need to add, it can be represented with pa-arab (or pa-shah etc).
I agree to Alam's suggestion and references. I think we should go ahead with this.
Thanks
Alam
