[PTG][Docs][I18n] Planning and time schedule

Dear fellow stackers, PTG for Train will held next week in Denver. I'm alredy here and I wouldn't say, I miss the train from Stapleton Station with all the noice. But I wouldn't miss the Train PTG in this lovely town in the U.S. It reminds me that diversity is still the greatest strength of our community. Well, for the different reasons I do not expect many team members to attend onsite, but some should be still there. The scheduled Docs/I18n day is regarding timetable [1] Thursday, May 02 2019. Weather forecast says sunny with 16 degrees - so no snow do expect. I've created an Etherpd and linked it on the main list [2]. Please feel free to add your name there and propose your topic. I spotted two things so far: - Documentation PDF support which is an official main goal for train - Migrate I18n translation platform back from Zanata There is no full planned timetable yet. Maybe we have during the day an onsite discussion and want to sync with remote guys at 16:00? EU is 8 hours ahead and Korea/Japan 15 hours [3]. Hello Carlos, I am not sure which team you are working currently, but heard that you are working in a tooling team a few months ago - would u help to resolve this? I can’t forget your name - we met on Tokyo Summit in 2015, and many OpenStack team members appreciate your lots of effort on Zanata + OpenStack. Questions about Stein Dashboard UI translations

Hi Frank and all, I have a couple of questions about Horizon UI translation. Hope you can help me. 1. Is stable-stein version going to be created soon in Zanata? I noticed that the projects in github already have the new branch. 2. With Octavia Dashboard, I am not able to see Japanese translations in Horizon even though it is 100% completed in master. I can see that po files are imported properly: https://github.com/openstack/octavia-dashboard/tree/master/octavia_dashboar… Is there anything I need to do to be able to see it in my environment? The import happens automatically, see: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/649909/ Once that one is merged, the translated page will be up. Normally, you should not care - we do and import every 24 hours which then gets fast review. So, after two days of changing, the information should be up. Good morning, in the first analyse I would say there are too few translations in summary for the project. It's true, there are a lower count of Korean translations, but that could result in a earlier translation phase with a smaller mount of strings in the whole book. The doc-organizations file is not imported for Korean, only the main file, see http://git.openstack.org/cgit/openstack/contributor-guide/tree/doc/source/l… We only import *files* that are at least 75 per cent translated and doc-organizations is not.
