We have a room and slot reserved (the description is not so good in the sched). Details at https://libertydesignsummit.sched.org/event/66d9c49676797d30ae7815a7f1753ae0.... The etherpad for the session is at https://etherpad.openstack.org/p/YVR-ops-hpc, input welcome. See you all there, Tim

So I think it will be an informal thing. I’m happy to see if we can get a room for something (HP has a few meeting rooms, one of which i might be able to borrow. I’ll ask internally). Failing that, I believe there are some good bars for a conversation. :-)
I’m also at the below session as are some others on this list so that might be a good place to do the coordination.

Hi Glyn, Hi All, All I could find was a reference to http://openstacksummitmay2015vancouver.sched.org/event/7be4864cd83e9e6 f5f76e96768ef147a#.VVUMk_lViOw which is an announcement of the session: “OpenStack in HPC Operations: A Campus Perspective” Monday May18 1400
As for anything else, I’m not aware anything was setup. So I’ll second your question.
I intend on attending the above session. So maybe we can coordinate from there. But if something more along what is on the Etherpad is setup, I’d be very interested to find out.

Hi All,
Did we settle on a time / date / location for the meet up yet? I don’t recall seeing anything since we started the Etherpad.

Anyone who would like to help out with the session organisation are welcome to add themselves to the Helpers list on https://etherpad.openstack.org/p/YVR- ops-hpc.
I’ve had a number of productive discussions in the past summits where cloud/HPC/HTC folk get together and having something very interactive is the aim.
Equally, feel free to add topics you’d like to find out if others have found solutions for to the etherpad…. We may not find solutions on the day but getting together people who share the same problems is already a major step forward.

Following Tim Bell’s request, I’m sending this email to confirm my interest to meet folks running OpenStack for HPC purpose. Please keep posted with time and locations details. If I can help by actually doing something, let me know. Donald
