Estimados:Estoy instalando openstack siguiente esta guia: http://docs.openstack.org/havana/install-guide/install/zypper/content/ todo venia viento en popa hasta que llegue a esta seccion: http://docs.openstack.org/havana/install-guide/install/zypper/content/nova-… y la ultima parte donde dice: nova network-create vmnet --fixed-range-v4=10.0.0.0/24 --bridge-interface=br100 --multi-host=T me da el error: ERROR: The server has either erred or is incapable of performing the requested operation. (HTTP 500) y en la misma documentacion entable una conversacion sin llegar a una posible solucion. Todavia no puedo detectar que puede estar pasando y ahi estoy estancando como chancho en pantano.Alguien pude instalar segun la guia nombrada al inicio? ... lo unico diferente es que la guia dice para SUSe Enterprise y lo estoy haciendo bajo opensuse 13.1, venia todo bien hasta que llegue ahi. Bue .. si alguien me da un mano yo le doy la otra ...ja .. bue .. espero puedan ayudarme.saludos

Fake Conferences CSCI and WORLDCOMP of Hamid Arabnia If you have any thought of attending the world’s biggest fake conference in computer science, WORLDCOMP http://www.world-academy-of-science.org you must visit any websites below https://sites.google.com/site/worlddump1 or https://sites.google.com/site/dumpconf https://sites.google.com/site/moneycomp1 https://sites.google.com/site/worlddump4 The organizer of this conference is Hamid Arabnia http://www.cs.uga.edu/~hra a professor from University of Georgia, Athens, US. The primary goal of this conference is to collect registration fee by accepting all submitted papers. Several fake papers were published in the conference proceedings. He already earned millions of dollars from the registration fee and is using part of the money for anti-Christmas greetings campaign. http://worldcomp-fake-bogus.blogspot.com has additional information on this campaign. He recently started another new conference CSCI due to his hunger for money http://www.americancse.org Hamid Arabnia failed to reveal the reviews and reviewers' information for all the papers he received, despite repeated requests and challenges. The reason for his failure is there were no reviews and reviewers and he just cheated the research community for more than a decade by announcing that each draft paper is reviewed by two experts. We challenge him to publish these details at the conference website. Where are these experts? Where are these reviews? Soon he comes up with a story that he lost all the reviews and reviewers’ information because of computer crash or theft. DBLP stopped indexing these conferences since 2011 and displayed an explicit message; The DBLP Advisory Board decided to discontinue indexing of this conference series. He was forced to remove his name, the university of Georgia name, and university of Georgia email address from the conference’s contact page because the University has banned him from doing that. Configuracion VOVA ???

Hola a todos. Mi nombre es Claudio de Argentina. Es la primera vez que escrivo por el foro. Yo tango vphere 5.1 y Virtual Center 5.1 instale el appliant VOVA 0.0.0.2 (Vmware OpenStack Virtual Appliant), que lo baje del sitio de VMWARE. lo configure en el Virtual Center, como muestra la figura que adjunto. toda la info la obtuve desde este sitio : https://communities.vmware.com/community/vmtn/openstack pero al acceder al OpenStack, no veo los hyperviroes, y al querer lanzar una instancia, me la deja en espera como muestro en otra imagen. tambien me da la opcion de asignarle una "IP flotante" (???) la cual da un error. Pero no encontre donde darla de alta alguien me podría orientar que puede estar pasando ?? Desde ya, muchísimas gracias. Error Authentication required using Multiregion

Hello, Sorry for bother you again, but after the following your suggestion came to me one doubts and problem. I configured two openstack installations, I'm a using full installation another I'm using full installation devstack. I followed this tutorial to installation:http://docs.openstack.org/havana/install-guide/install/apt/con…. I tested both of them work correctly. After that I've tried test the multiregion functionalities, I'm using this configuration (can you see in the attachment): In the first region have the services: cinder, nova, glance and keystone. The second region have: neutron. First I created a endpoint to service network user neutron to region 2. After that, I changed the configurations files of neutron on second installation, how you can see in :http://paste.openstack.org/show/54510 = (neutron.conf)http://paste.openstack.org/show/54511 = (api-paste.ini)http://paste.openstack.org/show/54512 = (metadata-agent.ini)After that I can source creds to validate the user, password and token. If I run the keystone catalog I can see this: http://paste.openstack.org/show/54514/ But If i try run this neutron router-list or another command about neutron return me this message: Authentication required. And I don't understand why the auth token failed. Note that I haven't any network configured in any installation openstack. Duda sobre regiones, zonas y host aggregation

Muy Buenos dias a todos, Soy nuevo en el mundo de Openstack y todo lo que a el está relacionado. Y quería experimentar la funcionalidad descrita en la documentación sobre las zonas, regiones, y así para un mini-proyecto que quería desarrollar.Según lo que entendí de la documentación http://docs.openstack.org/trunk/openstack-ops/content/scaling.html : Una región corresponde a una instalación completa de Openstack, incluyendo los endpoints y recursos computacionales necesarios. Así siendo es necesario tener una API por región y cada región tener una instalación completa del servicio nova, así podremos crear VMs para diferentes zonas y compartir alguna infraestructura. Comparten keystone y nova-api.Una célula es un compute node que permite ejecutar/correr la nube de forma distribuida. Son utilizadas para un compute node o cuando queremos un segundo nivel de abstracción. De esta forma conseguimos instanciar VMs en cualquier sitio, para tal necesitamos de un nuevo servicio cell y una instalación completa del servicio nova. Comparten Keystone. Por otro lado las Availability Zones corresponden a una separación lógica que permite agrupar varios compute host. Normalmente es identificado un conjunto de servidores que tienen un conjunto de características iguales. Comparte keystone, nova services.Finalmente tenemos los aggreggation host permiten redistribuir la carga del Openstack compute en grupos lógicos para el load balancing y creación de instancias. Sirve normalmente para dividir más las Availability Zones en grupos de hosts que comparten los mismos recursos. . Comparte keystone, nova services.Mi idea era experimentar solo con un controller node openstack controlar varios datacenters y sus recursos. No se si esto es posible y cual es la mejor forma de hacerlo. Según lo que entendí de la documentación atrás referenciada seria utilizar varias regiones para tal debo alterar el fichero de nova.conf de cada región correcto? Y desde la perspectiva del horizon como funcionaria? Alguien ya trato hacer algo asi o semejante? Si me pueden clarificar y ayudar estare agradecidoMuchas gracias de antemano.Saludos,Rafael
