Virtual PTG March 2023 Team Signup Deadline - LAST CALL!
Hello Everyone,
This is your last call to sign your team up for the next virtual Project Teams Gathering (PTG), which will be held from Monday, March 27th to Friday, March 31st 2023!
NOTE: Since we have had the feedback that the Europe+Africa/Americas timeslot is overbooked, we will be extending it beyond the ‘normal’ size of 4 hour blocks to 5 hour blocks.
If you haven't already done so and your team is interested in participating, please complete the survey[1] by February 19th, 2023 at 7:00 UTC.
Then make sure to register[2] - it’s free :)
Thanks!

Thanks, TC had feedback about extending the timeslot of 13-17 UTC slots for 2 hrs. In the last PTG TC scheduled slots from 17-19 UTC which helped many TC members as well as community members to join the TC discussions. We might want to do the same in this PTG. To communicate these slots easily (via ptgbot), can we open 17-19 UTC slots in ptgbot?

Hello!
So my concern with expanding the 13- (now) 17 UTC slot further to 19 UTC is that it then becomes a 6 hour timeslot which is not sympathetic to other timezones. Also, then the rest of the schedule would have to change immensely to accommodate and the other timeslots would have to reduce even further.
By adding the extra hour for 13-17 UTC; we are gaining 5 more hours across the week, lightening the timezone load so to speak.
I am extremely hesitant to widening that timeblock to 19 UTC at this point. I would propose we go with the current plan I have in place, an extra hour every day throughout the week and that the TC take advantage of that as much as possible. After this vPTG we can see how much that helped and look into other options.
Your feedback is noted and appreciated!
