Hello :) So! Since we won't be able to see each other in June and celebrate the recent release together, is there interest in doing a virtual cheers as a community? We could do something fun like.. trivia or a baking contest or something? I am reaching out to the TC specifically because we would probably want to do more than one of these and spread across all timezones so we could have a TC member or two 'host' the cheers. Can't wait to hear what you all think! -Kendall (diablo_rojo)

Sounds like everyone is on board for this. Can I get a volunteer from Europe and a volunteer from APAC? I am happy to lead the NA/SA celebration unless someone else is particularly excited about it. We should work together to pick times and plan fun activities :) We really should get moving on things as the release is coming up quickly. Hope to hear from you soon! -Kendall (diablo_rojo) On Wed, Apr 15, 2020 at 4:18 PM Kendall Nelson <kennelson11@gmail.com> wrote:

Would be good to get a volunteer or two from the other regions so that we can get planning since the release is fast approaching! If people aren't interested in helping out, its going to be harder to get the tz coverage and I might only do a North/South America tz based event and hopefully people can join. I don't really have the bandwidth right now to do three of them. -Kendall (diablo_rojo) On Wed, Apr 22, 2020 at 12:28 PM Kendall Nelson <kennelson11@gmail.com> wrote:

Small idea: May I suggest looking into Discord as a platform? I think the benefit that it has is the ability to let people have different smaller groups that we can break out to later, because otherwise one-big-conference-call might feel a bit, eh! I was actually thinking about helping the OpenDev team test their Jitsi so that we can see how usable that is for the PTG? Two birds with one stone and all that. -Kendall (diablo_rojo) On Wed, Apr 29, 2020 at 10:35 AM Mohammed Naser <mnaser@vexxhost.com> wrote:
