Contributing to Openstack [Looking for Mentorship]
Dear Mentors, I have good experience in building openstack in multiple environments bare-metal, kolla-ansible and helm project for minimal deployment to good HA clusters. Now, I'm looking to get into code level and contribute to open-infra foundation. I'm not a someone beginner to coding, I have done programming in a good amount and hold a knowledge of paradigm and principles. Here's my github: https://github.com/jamesii-b I'm looking for mentor who can guide me what to do as a Contribution.. Even deploying first openstack is overwhelming on its own, Coding is more. Please have me. Trust me, I'll have utmost respect to your time and energy and get most of it. Knowledge I have: HPC, Openstack Deployment, Network & System, Parallel Programming, Python, Rust.
Hi, this mailing list is for discussion about OpenStack usage and development, not specific to mentoring (AFAIK there is nothing like it), could you help us understand your goals? Why would you like to contribute (University? Thesis?)? Are there any components/technologies you're particularly interested in? -- Francesco Di Nucci System Administrator Compute & Networking Service, INFN Naples Email: francesco.dinucci@na.infn.it On 03/03/25 17:20, jb03229422@student.ku.edu.np wrote:
