[kolla-ansible][16.1.0] Could not load namespace_haproxy_for_cell
Folks, I am deploying new cloud and planning to use 2023.1 with kolla-ansible tag 16.1.0 but I hit this error and after google I found this reference bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/kolla-ansible/+bug/2039573 Very curious about the workaround here. How does it pass CI-CD if it's really a bug?
It may be ansible-core related problem. https://github.com/ansible/ansible/issues/81945 On Thu, 2 Nov 2023 at 14:45, Satish Patel <satish.txt@gmail.com> wrote:

no, this was both fixed on the ansible and on the kolla side: https://github.com/ansible/ansible/pull/82002 https://github.com/openstack/kolla-ansible/commit/6ba7fd279a27a8e21ef8013f7c... please do install kolla-ansible from git, not from packages published to pypi, as we do not have enough people to do releases there that often, so you might miss important bugfixes, which are already on the stable branches. so please use the documented installation procedure, e.g.: https://docs.openstack.org/kolla-ansible/2023.1/user/quickstart.html#install... pip install git+https://opendev.org/openstack/kolla-ansible@stable/2023.1 I'll write a separate announcement mail too, because this topic comes up every week now. -- Sven Kieske Senior Cloud Engineer Mail: kieske@osism.tech Web: https://osism.tech OSISM GmbH Teckstraße 62 / 70190 Stuttgart / Deutschland Geschäftsführer: Christian Berendt Unternehmenssitz: Stuttgart Amtsgericht: Stuttgart, HRB 756139
