Hello, Glance allows admins to define custom rules regarding CRUD (create/read/update/delete) operations on custom image properties[1]. This is done by setting the property_protection_file option in glance-api.conf to the path to an INI file defining such permissions. We believe this feature has not seen a lot of use, and are thinking about removing it. We would like to know what you think about this. We set up an online form[2] that you can fill to help us understand real-world use cases for this feature. 1) Are you using a property protection file? 2) Are you using roles, polices, or both for property protection? (Or "None" if you do not use this feature) 3) Can you give examples of config files you use? 4) Would it be an issue for you if Glance were to remove the feature? Only the role-base protection?
