[ptl][release] Stepping down as Release Management PTL
Hello all, I'm sorry to say that I have insufficient time and resources to dedicate to being the kind of PTL the community deserves. With that in mind I've asked if Sean has the time to see out the role for the remainder of the Train cycle and he's agreed. I have proposed https://review.opendev.org/675246 up update the governance repo. I'm not going any where but instead trying to take on less and do *that* better. Yours Tony.

Thanks for leading the team over the last several months Tony!

Thank you, Tony & Sean. I know how time-consuming the role can be, so I appreciate the work both of you are doing. Doug

Thanks Tony for all your work and for driving the train up to this station ! Taking the opportunity to recruit: if you are interested in learning how we do release management at scale, help openstack as a whole and are not afraid of train-themed dadjokes, join us in #openstack-release ! -- Thierry Carrez (ttx)

After having quite some (years of) experience with release and stable affairs for ironic, I think I could help here. Dmitry

We'd love to have you Dmitry! All of the tasks to do over the course of a release cycle should now be captured here: https://releases.openstack.org/reference/process.html We have a weekly meeting that is currently on Thursday: http://eavesdrop.openstack.org/#Release_Team_Meeting Doug recorded a nice introductory walk through of how to review release requests and some common things to look for. I can't find the link to that at the moment, but will see if we can track that down. Sean
