[releaseteam] Changing the meeting time.
Hello all, Now that the world has completed it's biannual calendar confusion dance, and Stein is pretty darn close to being released. I'd like to move the release team meeting to a time I can attend[1] It's going to be hard to find a time that works for the whole team given out 'follow the sun' support model. IIUC we have[2]: * Australia * Europe * US East * US Central * US West Which means someone (or some people) are going to be inconvenienced. If needed, we could do 2 meetings one for AU+EU and then another for AU+US but I'd much rather have a single meeting to keep everyone on the same page. I've created a doodle poll: https://doodle.com/poll/xxa46wrndefyi6dk I picked Thursday as the day of the week for the poll but if if needed we can mov it to another day. Yours Tony. [1] The current meeting time is 0200 for me. [2] https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/?pl=1&lid=21,312,5,8&h=21

I agree, I think just having one meeting is going to be best, even though it will certainly make things a little more challenging for some.

++ Thursday's have worked really well for me. We typically would try to get the release countdown sent on Thursday's to make sure folks see it before leaving for the weekend. So that along with Thursday's being the usual deadline days, it's been a good checkpoint to make sure we have things covered.
Yours Tony.

Even if I did 0400-0500 for me that's 2000 for Thierry which isn't great for him :/

Yup I like that. It's a shame I messed up the poll. Yours Tony.

Obviously nothing works for everyone. looking at the Doodle it looks like 1900utc is the time that works best (of all the times that work for Tony). It's not superawesome though (5am for Tony, 9pm for JP and me). Alternate solution would be to rotate between EU/Au and US/Au times and only have Tony as the common denominator. -- Thierry Carrez (ttx)

I can do 5am if y'all can do 2100.

We could do that but I'd rather get up a little early once a week and get the whole team together. I've proposed: https://review.openstack.org/651443 to make this happen from *next* week Yours Tony.

Thursday for you maybe. The times mostly show on Wednesday for US + EU people. Which is fine for me, just wanted to point that out in case we were trying to keep it closer to the end of the week. Maybe we will be even more on top of things now with our PTL living in the future.
Yours Tony.

Gah timezones are hard. I did want to keep it in Thursday at least for EU. Thursday for the US is my Friday which doesn't give me much time to do much before have a weekend

I really miss my replicator when I travel back in time. ;P Yours Tony.
