Welcome back to the release countdown emails! These will be sent at major points in the 2025.2 "Flamingo" development cycle, which should conclude with a final release on October 1st, 2025. Development Focus ----------------- At this stage in the release cycle, focus should be on planning the 2025.2 "Flamingo" development cycle, assessing Flamingo community goals and approving Flamingo specs. General Information ------------------- The 2025.2 "Flamingo" cycle is a standard 26-week development cycle. In case you haven't seen it yet, please take a look over the schedule for this release: https://releases.openstack.org/flamingo/schedule.html By default, the team PTL is responsible for handling the release cycle and approving release requests. This task can (and probably should) be delegated to release liaisons. By default, all your team deliverables from the 2025.1 Epoxy release are continued in 2025.2 Flamingo with a similar release model.
