[baremetal-sig][ironic] Redfish interoperability profiles: status meeting
Dear all,
This cycle, the Ironic community has started to work on Redfish interoperability profiles [0]. These profiles allow to describe requirements for a Redfish endpoint and to automatically verify them via tools like [1].
The aim of this activity is to have an easy way for both vendors and operators to validate that specific hardware is compatible with the Redfish support in Ironic.
We will be meeting next week to discuss the current status of this activity. A representative from the DMTF (as the defining body for the Redfish standard) has kindly agreed to join us.

Dear all,
The meetings of the Bare Metal SIG will for now be on the first Tuesday of the month at 2pm-3pm UTC.
The next meeting is scheduled for: Tue Oct 6, 2020 at 2pm UTC via zoom [0].
The (tentative) agenda and everything about the SIG can be found on its etherpad available from [1].
"Topic of the day" will be network setups, so come along and share how you do this, everyone is welcome!
