So if we're talking about supported upgrade path, then it would look like this: * Wallaby -> Xena * Xena -> Yoga * Yoga -> Antelope * Ubuntu 20.04 -> 22.04 upgrade * Antelope -> Caracal We also try to maintain a compatibility matrix which you can check for mapping OSA releases to supported Operating Systems. As for OpenStack upgrade, OpenStack-Ansible does support SLURP release policy, with Yoga being the first "unofficial" slurp release, where we tested the approach. But the direct upgrade from Yoga to Antelope used to work quite nicely and was passing all CI tests. If we're talking about a not supported but doable upgrade path, we used to upgrade directly from Xena to Antelope and it worked quite fine, with a couple of exceptions. Main of which was Nova conductor and computes having too big a difference in supported RPC microversions, that we had to manually bump it in Nova database for services to go out of the restart loop once all components were upgraded. Kindly we would like to upgrade from Wallaby to something more recent such as Antelope or Caracal. We also have Ubuntu 20.04 and would like to upgrade the OS to Ubuntu 22.04. What would be the correct upgrade path for such a scenario using openstack ansible.
