Hello everyone,

Hi, For the 2nd time, could we *please* re-add the tag: [release-announce] when announcing for a release? I don't mind if it's sent to -discuss instead of the announce this, but this breaks mail filters... Cheers, Thomas Goirand (zigo)

There was no clear decision last time we brought this up (and nobody proposed patches to fix it). I think we'll just move RC announcements to release-announce. Let me see if I can push a patch for this today (there may be a few more RCs sent like this one in the mean time). -- Thierry Carrez (ttx)

Thierry, Hopefully, I'm not too moronic here... :) I'm not trying to push any decision of changing any habits. Just trying to not forget one artifact. There's no need for any decision to add the [release announce] tag! :) I'm not sure where to propose the patch (I've searched for it), otherwise I would have done it. Thomas

Actually the [release-announce] prefix is added by the mailing-list itself, so if we add it to the subject line we'd also have to change ML settings so that it's not added twice...

That should do it: https://review.opendev.org/687275 -- Thierry Carrez (ttx)
