[tc][puppet][Glare] Propose retirement of puppet-glare
Hi, Currently Glare[1] project is located under x instead of openstack, and IIUC this means that Glare is no longer maintained and has been retired already. [1] https://opendev.org/x/glare Regarding its status, I'll propose to retire puppet-glare[2] because it doesn't make sense to maintain a puppet module for the retired project. [2] https://github.com/openstack/puppet-glare May I ask TC to confirm my understanding about Glare project status ? Also, please let me know if anybody has concern with retiring puppet-glare. Residing in the 'x' namespace does NOT mean the project is retired, it only means that the project is not under the OpenStack governance. There are reasonably alive projects in the 'x' namespace as well (although glare does look stagnating to me).

True. retire process from x/ namespace can be based on separate criteria for example, there are maintainer or not. As this is not in OpenStack governance, it is totally fine to check with x/glare team via this ML or including their past maintainer as not all might have subscribed to this ML. From seeing the commit history, I cannot see much development in the last 6-7 months.

I'll wait for any feedback from Glare team for a while Because we are about to cut off Ussuri now, we can consider the future of puppet-glare repo during the coming V cycle, I think.
