[kayobe] [bifrost] Enabling and Deploying compute node
Hi Everyone, Its be good experience to deploy Kayobe in all in one mode and see cirros image getting deployed and acesssible. Moving forward for multi-node deployment of baremetal machines. i tried to enable bifrost bit i doesn't seems to et enable by setting configurations in bifrost.yaml. What it takes to enable and use Bifrost using kayobe ? It may sound basic question. Thank you Ali
Hi Alidot-Subs, You need to at least deploy Bifrost via the 'kayobe seed service deploy' command. For extended configuration please refer the documentation: https://docs.openstack.org/kayobe/latest/configuration/reference/bifrost.htm... But where to mention the seed host detail in kayobe configuration? I am assuming i need following machines to deploy multi node kayobe. 1. Control host for Kayobe installation 2. Seed host machine for provisioning Cloud host and compute 3. Cloud host machine to run openstack control plane services. 4. Actual compute host to provision. A physical networking among them using switch etc. so my question is how to mention the ip of their machine when deploying multinode? In all in one mode everything was in one machine. Thank you Ali On Fri, Nov 29, 2024 at 2:46 AM Maksim Malchuk <maksim.malchuk@gmail.com> wrote:

Hi Alidot-Subs, The deployment process is well described in the official documentation. You should start reading from here: https://docs.openstack.org/kayobe/latest/deployment.html On Sat, Nov 30, 2024 at 9:39 PM alidot-subs Mail <alidotsubsmail@gmail.com> wrote:
