We are currently using ovn-bgp-agent agent in production, so also would be interested in a native implementation without all that massive overhead. But a bit concerned about time that will be able to dedicate for this effort, as currently have close to none. Also, with that I'd love to ask if ovn-bgp-agent is still considered as a maintained project? As there are really quite some patches some of them are vary valid bug fixes, without reviews for a while: https://review.opendev.org/q/status:open+-is:wip+projects:openstack/ovn-bgp-... I know that capacity is very limited, but with OVN native implementation would be nice to keep current agent alive anyway, at least until implementation is released.
