Due to tooz changing their python support to no longer support py3.8 by the 4.0 version, the Nova functional jobs are now blocked until we either block tooz>=4 in upper-constraints or we completely remove py3.8 support for the CI jobs we run.

FWIW, a patch to cap tooz to 3.2 is proposed https://review.opendev.org/c/openstack/requirements/+/881329 which should help unblocking the gate.

Unfortunately, our gate is still blocked because now, some other libraries changed their python requirements too [1] While we try to revert some of those constraints, we will try to no longer run our Focal jobs in the CI by https://review.opendev.org/c/openstack/nova/+/881409 or by https://review.opendev.org/c/openstack/nova/+/881339 Eventually, we also need to wait for https://review.opendev.org/c/openstack/devstack-plugin-ceph/+/881479 and https://review.opendev.org/c/openstack/devstack-plugin-ceph/+/865315 to be merged. -Sylvain [1] https://review.opendev.org/c/openstack/requirements/+/879915 -Sylvain
