[ironic][molteniron][qa] Anyone still using MoltenIron?
Out of curiosity, is anyone still using MotltenIron? A little historical context: It was originally tooling that came out of IBM to reserve physical nodes in a CI cluster in order to perform testing. It was never intended to be released as it was tooling *purely* for CI job usage. The reason I'm asking is that the ironic team is considering going ahead and retiring the repository. Thanks! -Julia
Hi Julia, Yea, the Zuul based Third Party CI I'm building uses Molten Iron to manage bare metal. I believe other Ironic 3rd Party CI projects are also using it. Though, I don't see it as an absolute necessity. I could have sworn that zuul had support to be basic selection/checkout of a resource instead of calling out to something else. Oh well! Good to know. Thanks Eric! On Thu, Sep 30, 2021 at 11:23 AM Barrera, Eric <Eric.Barrera@dell.com> wrote:
