The ironic failure seems to be because of the oslo.db fixture: https://storage.gra.cloud.ovh.net/v1/AUTH_dcaab5e32b234d56b626f72581e3644c/z.... Could someone from oslo take a look?

I've opened https://bugs.launchpad.net/nova/+bug/1926426 from nova side as besides the generic oslo.db related error I see now specific issue in the test run as well.

Without too digging this topic either, I just made a round of prioritization on oslo.db patches and I started merging some important fixes related to sqlalchemy 1.4. I think that some of them will help to fix the issue.

Some have been merged a few minutes ago and some are in our gates.

I managed to reproduce the error with oslo.db by disabling upper-constraints on our tests and I confirm that both patches fix successfully the compatibility problem with SQLAlchemy 1.4.

All fixes are now merged, I just proposed a new release of oslo.db for Xena (8.6.0) [1] and I updated the sqlalchemy requirement bump [2] with a "depends-on" on my release patch [1].
