[PTLs][All] vPTG April 2021 Team Signup
Greetings! As you hopefully already know, our next PTG will be virtual again, and held from Monday, April 19 to Friday, April 23. We will have the same schedule set up available as last time with three windows of time spread across the day to cover all timezones with breaks in between. *To signup your team, you must complete **BOTH** the survey[1] AND reserve time in the ethercalc[2] by March 25 at 7:00 UTC.* We ask that the PTL/SIG Chair/Team lead sign up for time to have their discussions in with 4 rules/guidelines. 1. Cross project discussions (like SIGs or support project teams) should be scheduled towards the start of the week so that any discussions that might shape those of other teams happen first. 2. No team should sign up for more than 4 hours per UTC day to help keep participants actively engaged. 3. No team should sign up for more than 16 hours across all time slots to avoid burning out our contributors and to enable participation in multiple teams discussions. Again, you need to fill out BOTH the ethercalc AND the survey to complete your team's sign up. If you have any issues with signing up your team, due to conflict or otherwise, please let me know! While we are trying to empower you to make your own decisions as to when you meet and for how long (after all, you know your needs and teams timezones better than we do), we are here to help! Once your team is signed up, please register! And remind your team to register! Registration is free, but since it will be how we contact you with passwords, event details, etc. it is still important! I got the same error briefly too when I tried it, but then reloaded a few minutes later and it came up fine. May have been a transient problem now corrected, or could be something iffy with a load balancer or... -- Jeremy Stanley

It seems like https://ethercalc.net/oz7q0gds9zfi is down since morning (CT morning the time I checked). Did we export the last state or any idea how we can bring it back? Fungi mentioned on IRC that this is not ethercalc service opendev runs so nothing opendev team can do about this. -gmann ---- On Mon, 22 Mar 2021 13:22:27 -0500 Kendall Nelson <kennelson11@gmail.com> wrote ----

I talked to Kendall briefly about it and she indicated she'd done an export on Monday and will do another as soon as the service (hopefully!) comes back up.

It may make sense to copy any periodic exports to an equivalent spreadsheet on ethercalc.openstack.org in case we need to announce a switch. -- Jeremy Stanley
Yeah I had planned to do an openstack one, but had failed to do so thus far. If the .net ethercalc doesn't come back up by the end of the day, I will make an openstack.org one and copy by Monday backup into it (which sadly will be missing anything added after that date, but better than nothing!). I am really sorry that I messed that up. I have no idea why my tab complete switched etherlcalc instances AND I didn't notice. -Kendall (diablo_rojo) On Fri, Mar 26, 2021 at 10:58 AM Jeremy Stanley <fungi@yuggoth.org> wrote:

No worry Kendall, you have been busy with a lot of things. I pinged them on Twitter. Though they are not so active there let's see if we get any updates. -gmann
