OpenStack D Release Name
Hi everyone,
I am excited to share that the name for the OpenStack D release, scheduled for 2H 2024 is Dalmatian. (Congrats, Amy!)

We look forward to developing the 30th release of OpenStack!

I've heard multiple international contributors indicate they don't know how to pronounce Dalmatian. It is also perfectly fine to shorten it to Dal when referring to a Dalmatian.:)
It is a very very old breed and it is believed to have been further refined in the Dalmatia region and hence the name.

Fun fact, there is also very alike named region in Croatia with same pronunciation: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dalmatia
So in case you don't like dogs, you would definitely like this region then :)
