[swift] Clarification on Bulk Delete middleware and version-id support
Hi Swift Community, I'm currently working on a task related to the bulk delete middleware and object versioning, and I was hoping to get some clarification on the expected behavior regarding version-id. While testing, I've observed that when attempting to bulk delete an object and explicitly specifying a version-id in the request, the bulk middleware ( bulk.py) seems to disregard the version ID and creates a delete marker instead. I have a couple of questions regarding this behavior: 1. Is it the intended design that the bulk middleware does not acknowledge the version-id parameter during deletion? 2. Are there any ongoing discussions, blueprints, or future plans to support passing the version-id through the bulk delete middleware so that specific versions can be targeted for deletion in a bulk request? Any insights, historical context, or pointers to relevant documentation/discussions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time and help! -- Thanks & Regards, Baranidharan G
