As we all finalize PTG agendas for the coming week, please take a moment to think about making some time for topics around improving the community experience for our maintainers and contributors. Whether that's prioritizing mentoring of prospective new maintainers, improving contributor documentation, or looking at tactics other teams have tried that made a positive impact, this is the ideal time for integrating these efforts into the direction we'll collectively set for the coming development cycle. In addition to team-specific discussions, this is a quick reminder that I and the other community managers on the OpenInfra Foundation staff are holding an office hour at 14:00 UTC on Thursday of the PTG (in the maint-contrib-xp track) where we can as a community collectively talk through pains and possible ways to address them. I've also injected a placeholder for this topic in the Technical Committee's PTG agenda, so that we can cover some OpenStack-wide commonalities and future tasks. And please don't forget to encourage your colleagues and teammates to take the 2025.2/Flamingo retrospective Maintainer and Contributor Surveys (take note of their new URLs): https://openinfrafoundation.formstack.com/forms/openstack_maintainer_experie... https://openinfrafoundation.formstack.com/forms/openstack_contributor_experi... Also, for those of you who couldn't attend the related Forum session we held at OpenInfra Summit Europe 2025, this is the read-only link for notes we took there: https://etherpad.opendev.org/p/r.3bbbf7c04b2697846f107775a592a082 Have a good weekend, and a productive PTG week! -- Jeremy Stanley
