Hi team, I am new to OpenStack. I would like to contribute to the OpenStack Neutron project. However, when I read the OpenStack contribution documentation, I find it difficult to begin. Could anyone please help me get started? I have doubts about how to set up a development environment and if there are any places other than chat available for discussion.

First of all welcome :) It's great to see You want to contribute to the Neutron project. I think that the documentation [1] and [2] are good places to start. There is also documentation about Neutron internals [3]. Regarding communication and asking questions, the best for that is our IRC channel #openstack-neutron @OFTC. Regarding development environmnet, devstack [4] is good tool to use to deploy openstack in the VM and start playing with it.
