Yes, we agreed to add Watcher support for 2025.2, but we ended up missing the deadline for this one. So apparently, this will be done only for 2026.1.
However, you should be able to use the role even on earlier versions once it is ready. The only thing, is that you will place the playbook somewhere downstream as well as place an env.d file to /etc/openstack_deploy.
So the plan was to take this role as a base and modernize it to match modern ansible and conventions which were introduced since Pike.
